The body of a man has been found inside a Highland home after blaze broke out on Tuesday.
Police said a fire was reported at a property on Leven Road in Kinlochleven at about 11:00 on Tuesday.
Emergency services attended, the road was closed and a number of neighbouring properties were evacuated.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said six appliances and two-high reach vehicles were sent to the scene and the fire was extinguished.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The body of a man was found within and next of kin are aware. Formal identification has yet to take place.”
Police said inquiries continue to establish the full circumstances.
