M5 in Devon partially closed by burning hay lorry

The M5 has been partially closed in Devon following a lorry fire, National Highways has confirmed.

Two of the four lanes have been closed southbound between junction 30 (Exeter) and junction 31 (Ide).

The lorry had been carrying hay bales which caught fire.

Delays of 90 minutes and about five miles of congestion on approach should be expected, a National Highways spokesperson added.
