A busy motorway that closed in both directions due to an “incident” is back open.
The M1 in Hertfordshire was previously closed near to Watford and Bricket Wood while the nearby A405 was closed heading southbound from the M1 junction at 17:30 GMT.
Hertfordshire Police was in attendance and urged drivers to avoid the area.
National Highways said the road had now been reopened and delays would clear shortly.
