Luas: Dublin trams disrupted after power outage

Parts of Dublin’s tram network have been suspended due to a power outage.

There are no trams operating on the Green Line, operator Luas has said.

Additionally, there are no trams running between Smithfield and The Point on the Red Line.

Thousands of commuters use the Luas service each evening.

Tram tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption, Luas wrote on X, formerly Twitter., external

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” the operator added.

Also writing on X , Dublin Bus has apologised to its customers for delayed services.

The company said, external this was beacause of “severe traffic conditions in the city centre due to the Luas currently being down”.
