Londonderry: Teenager charged after ‘spontaneous disorder’

A 16-year-old boy has been charged after “spontaneous disorder” in Londonderry on Saturday night.

Police said the incident happened in the Bishop Street and Nailors Row area at about 18:30 BST.

The teenager has been charged with disorderly and riotous behaviour.

He is due to appear in court on Monday.

A 14-year-old arrested after the disorder has been released unconditionally.

Two 13-year-olds and another 16-year-old have been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
