Londonderry: Police seize estimated £100,000 of drugs in search

Inside the vehicle, officers found a box of suspected cocaine, drugs paraphernalia, fireworks and approximately £40,000 in cash.

A suspect device was found in another search of the vehicle.

During a subsequent search of a residential address, a small amount of suspected Class B controlled drugs and a crossbow with bolts were discovered.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B controlled drug, being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of fireworks without a licence, possessing criminal property and driving while unfit.

He is due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Friday (12 July).
