A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of raping a young woman in Londonderry.
The attack happened in the Bank Place area of the city centre, near Guildhall Square, on Saturday morning.
Police said the victim, who was in her late teens, had been left traumatised and extremely distressed following the attack and specialist officers would continue to support her.
Detectives are appealing for information about the incident and have asked anyone with information to come forward.
