Leatherhead: Oil spillage closes roads around M25

Roads in Surrey have been closed, as well as services on the M25, following an oil spill.

A lorry has leaked oil along the A24 from Beare Green to Leatherhead and then on to the M25 at junction nine, according to traffic monitoring site Inrix.

Cobham services on the M25 have been closed according to Inrix, which is 4.5miles (7.2km) along the M25 from junction nine.

Surrey Police says there has been a “significant fuel spillage”, and roads are likely to be closed “for some time”.
