Wales back row forward James Botham says he has trust in interim head coach Matt Sherratt.

Cardiff coach Sherratt will take charge of his first Wales game since the departure of Warren Gatland against Ireland on Saturday in the Welsh capital.

Botham, who plays for Sherratt at Cardiff, believes the caretaker boss will lift the Wales players from the negativity surrounding their Six Nations campaign.
