Two-time Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones continued her switch into boxing by outclassing Argentina’s combat sports influencer Federikita in her second boxing bout.

Fighting on the undercard of Tommy Fury versus former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall at Manchester’s AO Arena, Jones made it two wins from two as the 33-year-old stopped Federikita inside the second round.

Jones now seems to be pencilled in to face Hungarian MMA fighter Sheena Bathory, who earlier in the evening beat Tina Snows.

“Different sport from what I’ve competed in my whole life, it’s still scary,” Jones told Talksport afterwards.

“I’d just like to say massive respect to my opponent (Federikita).

“She deserves a massive clap. It was a little bit more difficult, but I’m chuffed.

“I was a little bit more nervous, the pressure was on but I’ve got the best supporters. What an atmosphere.”
