The Royal Air Force has released a video taken by the crew of a Lincolnshire-based Typhoon during King Charles’ official birthday flypast earlier.
It shows Voyager ZZ336 – an aircraft configured for VIPs, but also capable of refueling other planes – and a second Typhoon on its port wing.
Both Typhoons are based at 12 Squadron at RAF Coningsby.
The spectacle – part of Trooping the Colour celebrations – also included a Red Arrows flypast, as the King and other members of the Royal Family watched from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
A total of 31 aircraft flew over Buckingham Palace, the RAF said.
The flypast concluded Trooping the Colour, which took place on Horse Guards Parade.
It became becoming an annual event in 1760.
More than 1,400 officers and soldiers formed the parade, together with 200 horses and more than 400 musicians.
