Inquest into Coventry bin worker’s death resumes

Mr Carpenter’s family are being represented at the hearing by Thompsons Solicitors and supported by Unite the Union.

Karl De-Loyde from Thompsons Solicitors said: “It has been an extremely difficult year for David’s family who are understandably still coming to terms with his death which occurred under truly tragic circumstances.

“It is their hope that the inquest will provide them with some insight into the circumstances surrounding his death, and whether any lessons can be learnt that would protect other workers in the future.”
