Ilkeston: Police ‘spoken to’ about standards after Greggs trip

Two police officers who were filmed appearing to drive the wrong way down a one-way street to get to a Greggs shop fell below expected standards, their force has said.

Footage, posted on social media, showed the officers exiting their patrol car outside the shop in Bath Street, in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, on Thursday.

They are then seen to leave the shop with a drink before driving off against the flow of other vehicles.

Derbyshire Police said the officers had been spoken to and “given words of advice” in relation to the incident.
