I Played Capcom’s Upcoming Game Monster Hunter Wilds at Gamescom

We just got out of the first hands on demo of Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds. I got two single player demos. The first set seemingly at the beginning of the game, a new region in the world has opened up and a thought to be extinct species is rumored to exist there. I took on a Chata Cabra in the tutorial mission equipped with the hope glade, a spear like weapon that uses insects to buff you and unlock special attacks. And I was terrible with it. The second demo was a lot harder and had us fighting an alpha dash agua, a large hairy mammoth like beast that fight was awesome since multiple other beasts would enter the fray and fight each other while we herded the creatures into enemy territories. The game definitely looked early with visual glitches and bugs, but that’s to be expected since Monster Hunter Wild isn’t out until sometime in 2025 and it’s coming to xbox playstation and PC.
