Human skeleton found in Brookside Close, Ancaster, police say

The remains of a human skeleton have been discovered at a property in Lincolnshire, police have said.

Officers were called to Brookside Close, a cul-de-sac in Ancaster, where the bones were found by members of the public earlier.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said it was not known how old the remains were and formal identification had yet to take place.

A visible police presence would remain in the residential area while the investigation continued, they added.
