On Saturday night Lady Gaga performed for her biggest audience ever, two million people on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro.

However, the evening could have ended in disaster for the huge crowds in Brazil.

Police said they thwarted a bomb attack that was planned to take place at the concert.

The BBC’s Mimi Swaby explains how the scheme was intercepted and who the police say was behind it.

Video produced by Rachel Flynn and Ian Casey.
