High-speed London chase driver avoids prison

A man has avoided jail after admitting dangerous driving and possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Barish Goksan, 32, was arrested on 16 August 2024 after a police pursuit through north London.

Officers found cannabis, cash and multiple phones in his car and home. He pleaded guilty at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court.

Goksan was given a four month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months, at Wood Green Crown Court for both offences on 5 November 2024.
