Millions of people in North America will be able to witness a rare solar eclipse on Monday. It’s an incredible phenomenon but not without risk because it’s not safe to look at the Sun with your naked eye.

From wearing eclipse glasses to using your hands as a projector, the BBC’s Emma Vardy lists some ways you can safely catch a glimpse of the solar event.
