Health workers: Unions reach pay deal for Northern Ireland

A pay deal has been reached with Northern Ireland’s health unions.

According to Unison, they have received a formal written commitment from the Health Minister that pay parity of 5.5% will be maintained for 2024/2025.

The payment will be made in two separate instalments with health workers expecting at least 10 months back pay.

The final instalment will come from the New Year monitoring round.
