With local elections around the corner our reporter has given a run down of what to expect in the local elections in 60 seconds, whilst taking the bins out.

Local elections take place across England in a couple of weeks.

Councils of all levels have seats up and the result of these elections determine who holds the seats and looks after your local area.

Polling stations open at 7am on the 7th May across the country and do not forget your photo ID.
