Google Pixel 11 Leak Hints at Higher Prices, New Colors and More Storage

Google on Tuesday announced that its next Pixel phone line will be unveiled on Aug. 12, but a number of key features for the Pixel 11 leaked on the same day.

According to the French site Deallabs Magazine, we’ll see price and storage changes to the base Pixel 11, along with an Aug. 20 release date that would be just over a week after Google’s unveiling event.

This timing largely lines up with Google’s past two Pixel phone launches. Both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 got August reveals in previous years, allowing Google to launch its flagship phones a month before Apple’s new iPhone launches in September.

The Deallabs report claims the Pixel 11 will eliminate the 128GB storage model and only offer 256GB and 512GB options, which is what Apple now offers on the base iPhone 17 and what Samsung offers for the base Galaxy S26. Earlier leaks suggested that the base model would have less RAM but a better primary camera.

That bump in storage seems to also come with a 100-euro price increase — which has been consistent with the rising price of electronics as the industry continues to deal with a shortage of components like RAM. If that price rumor holds, we’ll likely see a similar jump in the US starting price for this year’s Pixel 11 as well.

The leak also includes the names of the Pixel 11 colors, with the base Pixel 11 available in Light Sterling (gray), Midnight Haze (black), Fuschia (pink) and Moss (green). The Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL and 11 Pro Fold would also get Midnight Haze variants, as well as Light Fog (white), Dune (pink) and Pine (green) options depending on the storage capacity.

While this leak doesn’t include images of the upcoming Pixel 11 line, the list suggests the base and Pro models will offer a variety of options. Historically, the more interesting or brighter colors were reserved for the base Pixel phones, and more subdued options appear on the Pro models.

We already expect the Pixel 11 won’t change much in terms of design, as previous leaks suggest only mild tweaks. This includes removing the temperature sensor on Pro models and adding a new LED notification-like feature called Pixel Glow. The feature is designed to show you the type of notification you’re receiving when the phone is facedown.

While Pixel phones often leak completely before their official unveiling, we’ll know for sure when Google holds its Aug. 12 event in New York.
