Ellie Jackson, 24, from Cardiff, appeared on Love Island in 2024 after entering the villa through Casa Amor.
She said she had watched the show for years and saw it as a chance to try something new and explore new opportunities.
After leaving the villa, Ellie spent a year working on social media through a few brand partnerships, but found the uncertainty difficult.
“I was measuring success by the number of followers I had, and the brand deals I got,” she said. “It was really toxic.”
She eventually decided to return to her previous job in accountancy and now works full time while continuing to create content on the side.
Ellie said she feels more settled and fulfilled being able to balance both parts of her life.
