Glenariffe Road: Two dead after single-vehicle collision

Two people have died following a one-vehicle crash in the Glenariffe area of Ballymena.

A 41-year-old man and a woman, 31, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police received a report shortly before 21:10 BST of a collision involving a silver Ford Transit Custom van on Saturday.

No other injuries were reported. The Glenariffe Road, which was closed for a time, has reopened.

Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
