German airport suspends flights as tower evacuated | World News


Germany’s Munich airport has evacuated its tower and suspended flight operations.

The tower at the airport was evacuated on Sunday at 8.33pm local time due to the smell of smoke, the airport said.

The airport is the second-busiest in Germany, after Frankfurt, and one of the busiest in Europe.
