Huddersfield Giants full-back George Flanagan has signed a new deal to remain with the Super League side until the end of the 2029 campaign.

The 21-year-old made his breakthrough in 2025, making 25 appearances and scoring 10 tries for the club.

Having previously committed to the club until 2027 following an impressive start, he has now extended his contract for a further two seasons ahead of the 2026 campaign.

“I’m over the moon to re-sign again. I’m glad to get it over the line now and focus on what could be a big year for the Giants,” he said., external

“I’ve been focusing on getting more physicality. I want to kick on and be better than I was last year.”

Huddersfield will begin their season by facing either Stanningley or Hunslet in the Challenge Cup on 6 February.

They will kick off their 2026 Super League campaign a week later, away at Catalans Dragons.
