General Election 2024: A quick take on the Plaid Cymru manifesto

Plaid Cymru has called for “fair” funding for Wales in its manifesto for the election.

The party wants a change to the system which governs how much money the Welsh government receives, extra funding from the HS2 rail project and more control over the country’s natural resources.

The party’s leader, Rhun ap Iorwerth, said the current system meant Wales had lost out on billions of pounds over the years.
