JasperimageFire crews have been called out to tackle a large fire in a quarry in Lossiemouth.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it had sent seven appliances to the scene at Sunbank Quarry at about 15:45.
Images from the scene showed flames and smoke close to houses in the area.
The SFRS asked people to avoid the area as far as possible and advised anyone living locally to keep windows and doors closed.
