Euro 2025 play-off: ‘ They haven’t seen anything yet’ – Wales’ Angharad James

There was little to choose between Wales and Republic of Ireland in what was largely a cagey first leg in the Welsh capital.

But James now has her sights on securing away victory as Wales look to book a place at a major tournament for the first time.

“A derby is always physical, it’s just about being smart and making sure all 11 players stay on the field. We’ll regroup and look at how we can get better for Tuesday,” added James.

“It was cagey. It was tough to grow into the game. But we are taking a good result over to Dublin and we’ll give it everything we’ve got.

“It’s disappointing to concede any goal. We take it as a team and I think we could have dealt with the situation a lot better.

“We’ll give it everything for the red jersey and hopefully we can get over the line.”
