Eid: Welsh Muslims discuss Ramadan in shadow of war

As Ramadan comes to end, Muslims will be donating the fintanah, a charitable donation of food to ensure those in poverty will not go hungry on Eid.

But many worry that assistance will not reach people in Gaza and Sudan, where the people are living under conflict.

Yousra Elsadig, who was born in Sudan, said she has struggled to celebrate.

“This Ramadan has been quite dull knowing people in Sudan are suffering, they’re hungry, they will not have access to medical care,” she said.
