Edwin Poots: Speaker warns NI politicians over dress code

Northern Ireland Assembly Speaker Edwin Poots had a warning for assembly members on Tuesday – smarten up.

He gave members a gentle dressing down on their lack of dressing up when attending sessions in the chamber.

He told those present that some members that the dress code is smart, but that some people had a “loose interpretation of smart”, garnering some laughter from those attending.
