Duck family rescued from busy Australian motorway

A family of ducks brought traffic on Perth’s Kwinana Freeway to a standstill during Friday’s morning rush hour.

Main Roads, Western Australia’s motorway transport agency, posted the footage on X warning motorists to “be aware and be alert”.

“If you see ducks, ducklings or wildlife attempting to cross a freeway or road, stay in your car and call for assistance,” the agency told Australia’s ABC News.

It is the second day in a row ducks have caused “peak hour chaos” in the same place, reports ABC.
