Dublin deaths ‘being treated as murder-suicide’

The deaths of a man and child in Dublin are being treated as a murder-suicide, according to RTÉ News.

The bodies of a man and a five-year-old girl were discovered at a house in Finglas shortly before 20:00 local time (20:00 BST) on Saturday. They are believed to be father and daughter.

Irish broadcaster RTÉ is reporting that the child’s mother discovered the bodies when she came home from work.

Post-mortem examinations are due to be carried out.
