Dog walker subjected to ‘frightening’ gang attack

A dog walker was subjected to a “frightening ordeal” after he was attacked by three men.

Police Scotland said the 51-year-old victim was seriously assaulted near to a park in Ferguslie Park Gardens in Paisley.

He was taken to the town’s Royal Alexandra Hospital after the alarm was raised, at about 21:00 on Thursday.

Det Con James Campbell said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and who has not already spoken to officers to contact us.”
