A9 reopens after crash at Dunkeld closes road for six hours

A single-vehicle collision forced the closure of the A9 in both directions at Dunkeld for more than six hours.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash at about 10:25.

An air ambulance was also seen flying over the scene of the collision.

The road reopened shortly before 16:30.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We dispatched an ambulance, an air ambulance, a critical care team, and a special operations response team (SORT) to the scene.”

There is currently no indication of casualties.
