Lewis previously played for Wales during the 2024 Six Nations and says he still maintains his international ambition.
“I have not retired yet,” said Lewis.
“I am desperate to get back in the Welsh squad and that was a big factor in coming home to play in Wales.
“I am as hungry as ever and hopefully after the injury, I can get some games under my belt and put my hand back up.”
