Derry: Man, 60s, treated for serious injuries after city attack

A man in his 60s is being treated for serious injuries after he was attacked in Londonderry city centre.

It happened at around 19:20 BST on Thursday in the Guildhall Square area.

Two teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

They have since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

The victim is being treated in Altnagelvin hospital but details of his condition have not been released.
