Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex-husband, are engaged after six years of dating.
Chris, 47, popped the question to Dakota, 34, and his A-list ex Gwyneth Paltrow is said to be over the moon about it.
A source said: “The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private. But now they are being open about it with their circles.”
“They have been besotted with each other from day one so taking this next step was inevitable. They are in no rush to plan the wedding but are just enjoying making their commitment official,” they told The Mirror.
Dakota, who is known for her lavish daily routine of long lie-ins and midday baths, sparked engagement rumors back in October when she wore a huge emerald ring on her finger for her 34th birthday party.

The ring appeared to be on a white gold band and was certainly eye-catching due to its sheer size.
An expert at Steven Stone Jewelers, Zack Stone, guessed at the value of the ring for Her.ie.
He claimed the ring appeared to be an 8-10 carat oval cut emerald in a halo setting.
The gem expert explained: “The actress is clearly a fan of the highly precious gemstone as she’s previously been seen sporting an elegant cushion cut emerald ring. The stone of the heart, emeralds symbolise mercy, compassion and universal love – making them the ideal choice for an engagement ring
“Though it’s dependent on the quality of the stone, Dakota’s ring could easily be worth €461,000.”
