Mae bachgen yn ei arddegau a ymgyrchodd dros gynnwys sglefrfyrddio fel camp mewn arholiad TGAU addysg gorfforol yng Nghymru, yn dweud ei fod yn falch o’i weld yn cael ei ychwanegu at y rhestr.
Er bod y newyddion yn rhy hwyr i Osian George, sy’n 15 ac o Gwm Gwendraeth, mae’n gobeithio y bydd y newid yn rhoi mwy o gyfleoedd i bobl ifanc.
Yr wythnos hon ychwanegodd Cymwysterau Cymru 13 o gampau at y rhestr ar gyfer TGAU addysg gorfforol, gan gynnwys BMX, saethu, cic-focsio a thonfyrddio (wakeboarding).
Bydd y newidiadau yn dod i rym o fis Medi 2026.
Ers mis Mehefin y llynedd, mae’r corff wedi gweithio gyda grwpiau’n cynnwys athrawon, hyfforddwyr a bwrdd arholi CBAC, i greu’r rhestr newydd o gampau y bydd dysgwyr yn dewis ohoni wrth gwblhau’r asesiad TGAU.
