Cyclist, 9, serious but stable after Annan crash

A nine-year-old boy is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after a crash in Dumfries and Galloway at the weekend.

Police said the child was riding his bike in the High Street in Annan when there was a collision involving Peugeot Rifter at about 12:50 on Saturday.

The boy was taken to hospital. The 75-year-old male driver of the car did not require medical treatment.

Police Scotland are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch.
