NHS Highland said disinfection measures had been put in place at the hospital

NHS Highland says a potential risk of contamination to hot water has been found in part of Inverness’ Raigmore Hospital.

The health board said the issue was affecting the tower block of the Highlands’ largest hospital.

Disinfection measures have been place to reduce the risk and further testing is to be carried out.

A spokesperson said: “NHS Highland takes the safety of our patients and staff very seriously and have taken expert advice throughout the process.”
