Coleraine: Fire at recycling plant accidental, says fire service

A “significant” fire at a recycling plant in Coleraine is believed to have started accidentally, the fire service has said.

The fire at the premises on the Craigmore Road just outside the County Londonderry town, began at 02:13 GMT on Friday morning.

It was dealt with by 10:30 GMT on Saturday.

At the height of the blaze more than 80 firefighters and personnel were involved in bringing it under control.
