Coleraine crash victim named as 57-year-old David Elder

A man who died following a two-vehicle crash in County Londonderry has been named as David Elder.

The 57-year-old, from Ballymoney in County Antrim, was involved in a collision between a lorry and a white Peugeot Partner van on the Windyhill Road between Limavady and Coleraine on Thursday.

Mr Elder, who was driving the van, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they are continuing to investigate the collision and have appealed for anyone with information or dash-cam footage to contact them.
