Clapham shooting victim named as 27-year-old Kyrone Moodie

A man killed in a double shooting in south London has been named as Kyrone Moodie.

Emergency services found two men, aged 20 and 27, with gunshot wounds in New Park Road, Clapham, at about 21:00 BST on Monday.

Mr Moodie, 27, later died in hospital. The 20-year-old has since been discharged from hospital.

In a statement issued through the Metropolitan Police, Mr Moodie’s family described him as as “genuine and determined”.

“He helped everyone he could. Kyrone was just a humble, funny and God-worshiping family orientated man,” they added.

A Met spokesperson said his family continues to receive support from specialist officers.

They appealed for anyone with information or footage to share it with detectives.
