Grab that Winter coat… and keep it handy for this week. Arctic air will spill in tonight with lows the lower to middle 20s and wind chills likely in the teens! A Cold Weather Advisory will be in effect from 10pm tonight until 9am tomorrow. Make sure you take all the necessary cold weather precautions…protect the 4 P’s…people, pets, plants and pipes! Despite the plentiful sunshine Tuesday, highs will only reach the middle 40s, with increasing clouds overnight. It will start out cold again Wednesday in the middle 20s to lower 30s, with highs in the upper 40s under mostly sunny skies. Another shot of cold air arrives Thursday morning, met with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 40s to end off the week. The coldest temperatures will be settling in by the weekend. We are tracking our Next Weather Maker for this weekend, that may bring another chance for Winter precipitation. We will monitor this throughout the week… Get ready for a COLD week! Record lows are also on the horizon with a forecasted low of 19 degrees for Monday morning, matching the record set back in 1980.
