Champions League qualifying: The New Saints face FK Decic

The New Saints will face FK Decic after being drawn against the Montenegro side in Tuesday’s Uefa Champions League draw in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Cymru Premier champions will play the first leg of their first qualifying round tie at home on 9/10 July, with the second leg away on 16/17 July.

Saints have already strengthened ahead of the new campaign by signing 28-year-old centre-back Harrison McGahey from National League side Oldham Athletic.

Caernarfon Town, Connah’s Quay Nomads and Bala Town represent Wales in the Europa Conference League.

Nomads will begin with a first-leg trip to Slovenia against NK Bravo, while Caernarfon Town can look forward to an exciting Celtic clash against Crusaders FC of Northern Ireland, and Bala Town will play Paide Linnameeskond from Estonia.

Caernarfon and Bala are at home in their first legs.

Both Caernarfon and Connah’s Quay will play their home European ties at Bangor’s Nantporth Stadium, which meets Uefa standards.

Bala will play their home leg at New Saints’ Park Hall in Oswestry.

The first leg of the Conference League first qualifying round will be played on 11 July, with the second leg a week later on 18 July.

Clubs will also find out their potential second qualifying round opponents on Wednesday.
