Chris Satae has signed a new contract to stay with Catalans Dragons until the end of the 2026 season.

The Tongan forward, 32, is in his second year in the south of France after moving from Hull FC, but that will now extend to a third.

Satae has played 45 games for the Dracs and scored six tries.

“I’m really grateful for this as I’ve grown to love this club and the community of Perpignan,” he told the club’s official website, external.

“I’m looking forward to contributing and helping to get this club back to where it belongs.”

Catalans are currently ninth in Super League with 10 games to go, six points off a play-off spot.
