A professional dancer from Carlisle says he “wouldn’t have believed it” if you had told his younger self he would star in both Wicked films.
Daniel Rae started his career at Studio A Dance Academy and, after moving to London, he auditioned for a role in Wicked.
The 24-year-old said the cast were “so, so nice” and not as “big, scary and ‘Wicked’ as you might think”.
The sequel sees Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande reprise their roles as Elphaba and Glinda in the origin story of the Wicked Witch of the West.
