Cardiff man arrested after car hits three people is bailed

An 18-year-old man arrested after a car hit three pedestrians has been bailed.

He was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and causing serious injury by dangerous driving after police were called to Heol Trelai, Caerau, in Cardiff, at about 00:30 BST on Saturday.

One pedestrian was left with serious injuries and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition, said South Wales Police.

The teenager was initially held in custody after his arrest.
