A car has crashed into a parked ambulance – and caused it to smash into another – outside Scotland’s largest hospital.

The collision involving a black Audi happened at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow at about 07:15.

The front of the car was badly damaged when it hit the side of the ambulance and shunted it into another ambulance in the next parking bay.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Arrangements were made for the vehicles to be recovered.”
