Car bursts into flames in driveway in Great Billing arson attack

Video of the moment a car is deliberately set on fire on a driveway has been released by police.

An explosion is heard on the doorbell camera footage, as petrol is ignited and the Mercedes is engulfed by flames in Great Billing, Northampton.

Neighbouring homes were evacuated by firefighters after the blaze spread to another nearby vehicle in the early hours of 15 February.

Mikha Morrison, 27, of Southampton Road in Northampton, pleaded guilty to arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered at Northampton Crown Court and was jailed for three years and four months.
